GMB – What led Control F5 to participate in the SBC Summit Latin America in early November?
Natalia Nogues – We are very happy to be back at SBC Miami. I believe it is one of the most important events in our industry, where we connect with service providers, suppliers, and operators from Latin America and Brazil. It’s exciting to see Brazil increasingly represented at these events. Control is becoming ever closer to companies seeking entry into the regulated market.
We attended the event to reaffirm and showcase all our services, focusing not only on operators but also on working alongside providers, payment methods, service providers, and tools. We aim to share all our know-how and support these companies, and there’s no better environment for this than such an event.
Control has a reputation as a 360° solutions company, but we know it goes even further. Can you elaborate on that?
Exactly. One of our strategies for 2024 was to broaden our scope. Previously, we were heavily focused on operators in Brazil, but now we’re engaging the entire ecosystem, encompassing all stakeholders. We want to leverage this since many providers, especially gaming and platform providers, are entering Brazil and need to structure their operations locally.
We are supporting these companies from the ground up—helping them set up operations, recruiting and training professionals, offering marketing and positioning strategies for the Brazilian market, and providing customer support. This year, we have particularly focused on creating call centers, which are already required by regulatory licenses, as well as ombudsman services. Our goal is to make the transition to regulation as smooth and compliant as possible, ensuring companies meet all the necessary requirements.
What are your plans for 2025, with the start of the regulated Brazilian market?
We’re all eagerly anticipating 2025. This year-end transition will be crucial as we finally see the consolidation of regulation with licensed companies. Our goal for 2025 is to build upon everything we developed in 2024 and take it to the next level.
We believe more companies will continue entering Brazil, particularly platforms, providers, and operators preparing for regulation. We’re also assisting with mergers and acquisitions (M&As) and aim to stay closely involved in this movement by offering the services we refined in 2024. This is our primary goal for the year.
So, 2025 will be another milestone year for Control?
Absolutely. It will be a year filled with hard work. We want to stay close, follow the developments, and play an integral role in this journey, which is vital to us.
