Sportradar now holds exclusive rights to collect and distribute data for all FPB (São Paulo Basketball Federation) matches, alongside innovative fan engagement tools powered by Artificial Intelligence. These tools leverage live statistics and personalized content to create a more dynamic and interactive experience for FPB fans.
The FPB will have access to Sportradar’s full suite of cutting-edge solutions, including Synergy Stats for data and statistics collection and integrity services via the Universal Fraud Detection System (UFDS), ensuring secure monitoring of its competitions.
Through Sportradar’s Synergy Stats coverage, FPB-affiliated teams will be equipped to enhance player performance, analyze rivals, and access statistics that will contribute to the growth and development of basketball in São Paulo.
The federation will also gain tools to collect data and statistics beyond official competitions, tapping into a database of approximately 5,000 games annually.
This new agreement also introduces Sportradar's UFDS to monitor major international basketball leagues and tournaments, adding a layer of transparency to FPB competitions.
The UFDS employs advanced machine learning algorithms to detect potential match-fixing or irregular activities, providing the FPB with robust tools to safeguard the integrity of its events.
Mario Outuky, President of the São Paulo Basketball Federation, emphasized the partnership's significance: “At FPB, we are always looking to innovate and improve in all areas to offer new experiences for our fans during games.”
“With Sportradar’s advanced tools for data collection, analysis, and integrity, we will continue to professionalize São Paulo basketball, strengthening our league and Brazilian basketball overall.”
Victor Fernandez, Director of Strategic Rights and Partnerships at Sportradar, added: “We are delighted to extend our agreement with the São Paulo Basketball Federation. Sportradar is at the forefront of sports innovation, including the use of artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies. We are confident we can help FPB drive the growth of São Paulo basketball and expand its global exposure.”
