The objective of this technical cooperation is to develop actions aimed at sports integrity, ensuring safe and responsible gaming in the sports betting environment. The cooperation agreement does not involve financial contributions and the partnership is free of charge for both participants.
Lottopar will promote training, lectures and other activities aimed at FPF members, the Arbitration Committee and the general public, with the aim of providing guidance on codes of conduct, preventing match-fixing and the risks associated with illegal betting practices.
The agreement also seeks to raise awareness of the consequences of non-compliance with sports rules and contribute to the safe regulation of the sector, promoting the protection of those involved and the integrity of competitions.
Lottopar's Operations Director, Fabio Veiga, highlights the importance of the initiative as a way to disseminate the practices of sports integrity and responsible gaming: “We have already had the opportunity to give a lecture to the athletes from the Paraná Clube youth team and now we are going to extend these meetings to the professionals from the FPF and associated clubs.”
“With this work, we seek to raise awareness about the consequences of non-compliance with sports rules and contribute to the safe regulation of the sector, promoting the protection of those involved and the integrity of the competitions,” he said.
“Making results is a relevant issue that has always received the attention of the Paraná Football Federation, our role is to provide a fair and fraud-free game and Lottopar is joining us in this education process. This partnership will contribute to ensuring that the show is increasingly free of blemishes,” stated the technical director, Hélio Cury Filho.
Future referees
The cooperation agreement provides for training in the same format already provided by Lottopar in October of this year for the Paraná State Football Referees Commission, of the FPF, which brought together students from the refereeing school who will participate in football competitions in the future.
