GMB – Is inplaySoft’s sports betting platform ready for the Brazilian market? Is this what the market needs?
Diego Ackermann – That's exactly what the market needs. With Brazil's new legislation, we applied for a license, not only as inplaySoft but also with our operator inplayBet, alongside QGBet, another partner of ours in Brazil. We're growing in the country and aiming to expand further, especially now that regulation will push out operators who haven't pursued their licenses. This is a great opportunity for companies that secure a license and move forward in the market.
What are the main differentiators of inplaySoft’s platform compared to existing products in the market?
What’s unique about inplaySoft is that we’re a technology company. Our founder isn't just a business founder; his life is embedded in technology. Our platform was built from the ground up, meaning we have a highly flexible product with many people in our company working to create and customize it for our clients.
This allows us to provide the support they need to succeed. It’s not just about delivering a platform and leaving them on their own but offering a product with the support necessary for them to thrive. Our platform keeps customers engaged with features like tournaments and loyalty programs, areas where we’re very strong and that set us apart from the competition.
Our platform is comprehensive, covering the main verticals in the market, such as casino, sports betting, live casinos, and eSports, all incorporated into a single product.
How has your presence been in the Latin American market overall so far?
Our platform has been very well received. It's quite updated, and that’s something we’ve noticed is lacking, as most others are generally quite similar. Ours is strong and flexible, and this has been very well received by our clients and also by potential future clients.
What are inplaySoft’s plans for the Brazilian market starting in 2025, especially with ongoing regulation?
We’re hoping to secure the license, though we’ll only know at the beginning of next year. We’ve already applied and are following all the necessary steps to be fully compliant, which is the first and most important stage. From there, we aim to attract clients in Brazil, expand our brands, and grow both in Brazil, which is our primary focus, and across Latin America in general.
Has the platform's certification been completed regarding GLI-19 and GLI-33 standards?
Everything is ready and 100% compliant. That’s one of our strengths. We’ve never worked with companies or clients who aren’t compliant in some way. We always strive to be as transparent as possible. Our goal is to offer something that makes our clients feel comfortable working with us.
