Celebrating ICE’s move to Barcelona, and for the first time held in partnership with the city, this popular cocktail reception will take place at the world-famous Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya on Montjuïc hill, offering stunning views of the city and its skyline.
Open to representatives from regulatory bodies, association leaders and invited C-level industry executives, this opening reception will provide an opportunity for high-profile guests to network and prepare for the week ahead, taking in the views of the Magic Fountain of Montjuïc, Torres Venecianes and Plaça Espanya while experiencing Catalan hospitality at its finest.
Clarion Gaming Managing Director Stuart Hunter believes the World Gaming Gala is the perfect way to kick off what will be a week-long celebration spanning all sectors of international business. “Our move to Barcelona is a historic event and we want to mark the occasion with a spectacular evening of hospitality and networking at the Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya on Montjuïc Hill, with its stunning views of our new host city," he said.
“The ICE World Gaming Gala is the main event taking place on what we are calling Day Zero, which will feature a dynamic programme of social events, cultural experiences, wellness activities and business functions, allowing visitors to network, connect and explore Barcelona ahead of the opening of both shows on 20 January.
“We have created a spectacular start to the week, paving the way for our visitors to experience ICE and iGB Affiliate Barcelona alongside hundreds of city-based events in Barcelona, ??the new home of the global gaming community,” Hunter concluded.
