The seal is issued by EBAC and delivered to platforms that use the COMPULSAFE program, a project developed with the intention of presenting solutions and management for gamblers with a profile of addiction. The procedure also contributes to the process of regulating betting companies with the Secretariat of Prizes and Betting (SPA) of the Ministry of Finance.
“One of our biggest concerns is to ensure that no gambler becomes a compulsive user and, as a result, is harmed both financially and has their personal and social relationships affected because of gambling. We will seek all necessary means to guarantee an experience that provides well-being to our bettors,” stated Gabriel Oliveira, Legal Director of Grupo Esportes da Sorte.
According to the executive, the implementation of the program reinforces Grupo Esportes da Sorte’s commitment to guarantee a safe and responsible betting space, which complies with the new regulatory requirements.
According to the project created, bettors will undergo analyses by EBAC professionals together with partner 'bets' (as operators are called in Brazil) and after a period of diagnostics, a personalized action plan will be created for each person, aiming at the implementation of good practices that allow responsible gaming. The execution of the outlined project will be the responsibility of the platforms and the team of professionals from EBAC will provide support throughout this period.
"Our program has detection systems, emits warning signals and provides guidance to gamblers with potential gambling disorders. When something is detected, support is provided and all necessary attention and guidance is provided so that the user can continue the process," explains Ricardo Magri, CEO of EBAC.
Founded in 2022, the Brazilian Company for Support to Compulsive Gamblers is already positioned to meet the demands of companies and users through a group of specialists with skills and abilities in the fields of psychology, communication, organizational management and compliance in the gaming industry.
"The support begins with psychological support procedures and ends with screening and referral for participation in a psychoeducational program, lasting up to eight weeks and provided directly to the gambler, free of charge," explains Cristiano Costa, EBAC's Director of Knowledge.
According to Costa, during the process, the user has access to technical information and quality group experiences to deal with gambling disorders.
One of the main sports platforms in the country, Esportes da Sorte is present in several segments. In football, it sponsors traditional Brazilian clubs, such as Corinthians, Palmeiras, Grêmio, Bahia, Ceará and Náutico. In the concert and events market, the brand also has a strong presence in the main and largest projects in Brazil.
