GMB – What products are you launching this year here at ICE?
Patricia Souto Rial – At the last ICE fair held in London, since we will go to Barcelona next year, we are launching the IQ2, which is our cost-effective line, especially for the Latin American and Spanish markets. It comes with an Intel Atom chipset with an excellent price, especially for the Latin American market, offering the same customer support and software libraries that we offer to all customers regardless of whether they use Entry Level, Middle Range, or High Level, with the same support as always and at an exceptional price and unmatched performance.
What impact did you have during ICE 2024?
The three days of the fair were fantastic, somewhat overwhelming, using an English term. The acceptance of new projects has been excellent because the performance of the new IQ2 triples that of its predecessor, the IQ1, and at a price, as I mentioned, excellent. Focusing on customer support is something they clearly value, and we have had great acceptance, and we are looking forward to sending samples to our customers who requested them during the fair. It was truly a very, very successful product.
What was the acceptance of these products?
We are really very happy; as managers of Latin America and Spain, this was a star product. We chose the right features, customer support, and the ideal commercial level.
What trends did you see at ICE 2024?
We observed at the fair that there is greater portfolio diversification of customers open to using AMD or Intel, with different options depending on their needs and their target market. Similarly, in the technological field, content optimization is fundamental regarding software, something that can be consulted to maximize the performance of your hardware because the customer experience is everything.
The experience that the player can have, which leaves him interested, that he likes is the most important thing, and that is what we focus on, so everything that is technological level the use of new storage units, new technologies related to DDR RAM, DDR RAM 4, DDR RAM 5, the use of AMD2, and content optimization at the software level for less CPU usage, which greatly helps make the player experience fantastic.
What markets is Quixant targeting in 2024?
Today, Quixant currently operates in eight different markets in Latin America, the team is growing, we are investing both at the commercial and engineering levels to provide even greater support to our customers and the most enjoyable experience possible. The markets we are targeting are Colombia and logically Brazil, a market that we are closely monitoring and working to enter. By the way, we already have a commercial and operational proposal so that when the market opens, Quixant will be ready to distribute its products.
What relationship do you have with Brazil, what ideas, and what things are already being done there? Brazil is very important to us; it is an emerging market, a fantastic market, and we have already been working in this area since last year. The operational proposal is very important both in terms of evaluation and in the commercial field. Likewise, all commercial relationships such as suppliers and distributors that we already have listed for this year and as soon as the federal law is approved.
What concrete plans does Quixant have for the market in general?
Quixant will continue to focus on the market, particularly Latin America 100%. We have big and ambitious expansion plans for several other important markets, not only Brazil but other Latin American markets with other opportunities and projects that will emerge later this year, of which we are very proud, and we will continue working on them. Also investing in the right team to be able to offer adequate support at all levels to our current and future customers.
