Blaze has featured in the most noble space on the Santos shirt since April 2023, in an agreement signed during Andrés Rueda's management that had Neymar and his father, mainly, as key players behind the scenes. The Brazilian star is an ambassador for the company.
Santos, however, has a much higher proposal for Parimatch, which offers R$135 million (US$ 27m) for three years, around R$45 million (US$ 9m) per season, according to the report. It would be almost double what Blaze currently pays the club.
The company is one of the main partners of John Textor's Botafogo and the president of the club himself, Marcelo Teixeira, confirmed the negotiations.
“We have a proposal above the current one from the master partner. Santos, despite not competing in Series A and with only two competitions, is receiving better offers. One of them with objectives and goals to be achieved, we reached a proposal of R$ 135 million for three years. Values above market,” stated the president of Santos.
At the moment, Santos is evaluating behind the scenes the path to terminating the current relationship with Blaze, who signed a two-year contract in 2023.
Something that Santos considers important was the numerous negative news about the company last year, with complaints about the games available on the platform and problems with payments to bettors, in addition to the high number of complaints from consumers.
If it is understood that the connection with Blaze is negative for Santos' image, there may be a legal loophole for termination without paying a fine, as initially planned. In any case, negotiations for the break are already underway.
Parimatch, which is trying to take over Santos' master sponsorship, has already occupied this space on Botafogo's shirt since the beginning of 2023.
