Active in the sports betting market for only six years, the agency has already negotiated over R$ 200 million (US$ 40m) in advertising for physical and digital properties in the country's major sporting events, such as the Serie A of the Brazilian Championship, as well as sponsorships for football teams of continental relevance.
For Matheus Antunes, CEO of Volta Pra Marcar, who has over 20 years of experience in the betting market, the agency's multi-market work enables them to present new marketing and advertising ideas for the promotion of responsible gaming, as well as new perspectives on sponsorship.
"With our expertise in prospecting, consulting, and commercializing event rights and advertising, we are excited to work with IBJR to promote ethical and responsible means of creating advertising for the betting sector, with player safety first and foremost."
According to the president of IBJR, André Gelfi, the new partnership once again expands the institute's experience in the advertising market. "The entry of new associates expands our possibilities to discuss important issues for the Brazilian betting market with key players," he said.
"With the regulation approved by the government, we want to discuss the role of digital marketing, influencer marketing, and advertising in promoting responsible gaming," he emphasized.
With the new associate, the Brazilian Institute of Responsible Gaming expands the number of partners in the national territory to 17 companies. These include ten international sports betting operators (bet365, Flutter, Entain, Betsson Group, Betway Group, Yolo Group, Netbet Group, KTO Group, Novibet, and LeoVegas), a fantasy games company (Rei do Pitaco), three payment solutions providers (Pay4Fun, Grupo OKTO, and OneKey Payments), a media group (Better Collective), the Clever Advertising agency, and now the digital marketing and sports agency Volta Pra Marcar.
The IBJR was born from the union of groups such as bet365, Flutter, Entain, Betsson Group, Betway Group, Yolo Group, Netbet Group, KTO Group, Rei do Pitaco, Novibet, and LeoVegas with the aim of fostering debate on the regulation of this segment in Brazil, contributing with information to advocate for the creation of clear rules and guidelines so that sports betting companies can operate legally, protecting the interests of players and civil society.
Volta Pra Marcar is an agency based in Rio Grande do Sul that has been operating for six years in the digital and sports marketing, advertising, online gaming, and sports betting market, working with clients from over ten countries and based on three pillars: prospecting, consulting, and marketing for brands.
