The Bidding Notice for Instant Lottery Licensing was positive for Lottopar, considering that three companies showed interest, and now the notice moves to the document analysis phase. The companies that participated in this first stage are:
B3 (São Paulo Stock Exchange) is providing support to the Lottopar Special Accreditation Committee in these document analyses. Once all documentation is in accordance with the Notice rules, the companies proceed to contract and service order signing, which will take place at B3's headquarters in São Paulo, with the scheduled date set for the end of March this year.
"We have taken another step for Paraná to have a new lottery modality. Now the Special Accreditation Committee, in conjunction with B3, moves on to the thorough analysis of the documentation of these companies, as stipulated in the rules of Notice No. 03/2023 - Instant Lottery Modality," said Lottopar President, Daniel Romanowski.
Legislation
Lottopar opened the accreditation bidding process to hire qualified legal entities for the common concession of instant lottery exploitation, in physical and/or virtual media.
This action was legally supported by Federal Law No. 8,987, of February 13, 1995; Federal Law No. 13,756, of December 12, 2018; Federal Law No. 14,133, of April 1, 2021; State Law No. 20,945, of December 20, 2021; State Decree No. 10,086, of January 17, 2022; State Decree No. 10,843, of April 26, 2022, as well as the Supreme Federal Court (STF) decision, which was favorable for States to exploit lottery modalities in light of the judgment of ADI 4,986 and ADPFS 492 and 493.
