Lottopar seeks knowledge and information exchange in the areas of technology, systems, and security prints, aiming to offer lottery products of quality to the people of Paraná within the highest standards of security.
The agenda of these institutional visits primarily focuses on the industry specialized in security prints, one of the pillars to ensure that the scratchcards modality meets the standards required by Lottopar in Notice No. 03/2023 - Scratchcards Modality, thereby ensuring security and reliability.
The first visit took place last week at Thomas Greg & Sons, specialized in security printing, and will continue to other market players in the coming days.
"These visits are essential for Lottopar to verify on-site whether the industries offering these security prints meet the quality standards required by Lottopar. This is a series of visits to understand the market and the level of quality of services provided," said Stefanny Fernandes, Chief of Staff.
For Fabio Veiga, Director of Operations at Lottopar, scratchcards tickets need to be produced in accordance with the rules established in the Notice and in line with the required security standards. He states that "this knowledge exchange will enable us to improve our oversight and ensure that the tickets include security and anti-counterfeiting features."
Pablo Wozniacki, an advisor to Lottopar, also affirms that "we always seek continuous improvement of the agency's processes, and for the scratchcards, it could not be different. Market best practices are essential to assist our oversight process and, above all, to offer a safe lottery market in Paraná."
Scratchcards
Scratchcards is a type of game where the result is immediate. The bettor will know whether the ticket is a winner or not by scratching the covered fields of the ticket, where combinations of numbers, symbols, or characters determining the prizes are engraved.
