Better Collective completes acquisition of Playmaker Capital for 176m euros

Better Collective, a global digital sports media group, has just concluded the acquisition of Playmaker Capital, becoming the leader in digital sports media in South America. Headquartered in Toronto, Canada, with operations also in the United States and Latin America, Playmaker Capital boasts an extensive portfolio of brands.

In its second-largest acquisition, Better Collective expands its global audience to around 400 million monthly visits, with 210 million coming from South America, and becomes the regional leader in digital sports media in terms of audience volume in the region.

The acquisition of Playmaker Capital represents a significant step towards Better Collective's vision of becoming the leading global digital sports media group. Founded in Denmark in 2004, Better Collective is listed on the Nasdaq Copenhagen and Stockholm stock exchanges, has over 20 offices around the world, and has recently established a presence in Brazil, with offices in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo.
