"I'm really happy with this announcement; it will be my 25th season. No one on the current grid has that number, and few have achieved that in the past of the Stock Car. I remain motivated, eager to pursue victories, and we have the arrival of a new sponsor to boost it all," says Cacá, who has 85 podium finishes in his Stock Car career.
Betnacional will support Cacá for the next two seasons, just as the renewal of the partnership with ACDelco has been confirmed for the next two years.
"We know that this is the last season for this model (Chevrolet Cruze), so in 2025, we won't be left out of the races when we have the new car. It's important to have the confidence of a traditional sponsor in Brazilian sports, one of the major investors in recent years, so we are very pleased. I've returned to the color I've used most in my career, which is blue, so the car looks very nice," says Cacá, noting that Stock Car will use SUV models in 2025.
Cacá also highlighted the renewal for another season with KTF Sports and the new format for the race weekend in Stock Car, with qualifying and a shorter race on Saturday, as well as a longer race on Sunday.
"I'm very happy to announce this continuation with KTF Sports. Hopefully, it will be a very positive year for us; we will work hard for that. I think the audience will appreciate this new race format. I liked the old format, but I think this change is positive because it will give us more movement over two days of racing. This generates more content, brings more people to the racetrack, and we hope that Stock Car will continue to grow," Cacá adds.
The 2024 Stock Car season will kick off on March 2nd and 3rd at the Ayrton Senna International Autodrome in Goiânia (GO).
