The total amount allocated was R$ 2,999,955.35, sourced from Loteria Mineira. With these funds, over eleven thousand food baskets, 5,600 sleeping kits, 3,500 hygiene kits, 5,600 mattresses, 1,003 buckets, 100 tarps, 5,397 roof tiles, and 3,500 cleaning kits were purchased.
Part of the material was delivered to affected cities during the rainy season, as well as to vulnerable individuals due to the drought.
The initiative alleviated the suffering of several families in municipalities like Montes Claros, Pavão, Novo Horizonte, Indaiabira, Santo Antônio do Jacinto, Açucena, and Teófilo Otoni.
The partnership between Civil Defense, Sede, Sedese, and Loteria Mineira was essential to ensure not only quicker and more efficient support but also more dignity for the people of Minas Gerais.
