Loterj has scheduled the start of the Proof of Concept (PoC) for this Friday (15) to analyze the technical capabilities of 1xBet's sports betting and iLottery platform so that the company can be accredited to start operating in the state.
After the first phase of legal, fiscal and technical qualification, 1xBet will now go through the PoC, which analyzes in depth the platform's ability to meet the technological requirements required when opening the bidding process that has already accredited four other houses.
Apostau, Bestbet, Marjosports and Pixbet are already operating under the Loterj banner. The latter will go through the PoC this Thursday (14) for approval of its iLottery platform and the results will be released next week.
During the PoC, 1xBet must “open” and prove that its sports betting and iLottery platform meets Loterj's requirements regarding speed in processing payments (cash-in and cash-out), updating odds in real time, ease navigation, data security and responsible gaming policies, including self-exclusion or self-imposition of betting limits.
In addition, the PoC Committee will analyze GLI and other relevant certifications, as well as evaluate 1xBet's ability to provide customer service and support.
At the end of the PoC, the Commission prepares a detailed report on the entire analysis process and the team, based on the data collected during the tests, invites the company to sign the contract.
The end of this analysis is expected to be next week. Only after that, and after paying the grant fee currently updated to R$5.15 million (US$ 1.03m), the company will be able to start offering its sports betting and online lottery in the state of Rio de Janeiro.
