The one-on-one football format, inspired by MMA, will have its first title fight of the year pitting champion Paçoca against challenger L7, with CazéTV broadcasting everything live. The women's belt will also be at stake, with the duel between Toinha and Bia Cabelinho. Uniforms for athletes and referees, in addition to the match ball, all items will already feature the quality of the German company.
“It is a partnership that must be celebrated! Having Adidas as an official sponsor is a historic milestone for the X1 sport. Another achievement that reinforces the exponential growth of our product and, above all, that combines two brands that look closely at innovation,” praises Davi Oliveira, Project Manager at X1 Brazil.
“The connection with X1 Brazil is another way of bringing Adidas closer to the new generation that seeks entertainment and fun through sport. The innovative format attracts new fans passionate about football every year and we are very interested in supporting this movement with our products that reinforces the connection with the sport in the country, regardless of the modality,” said João Meyer, senior marketing director at Adidas Brasil.
The X1's material is unique, with regatta t-shirts, made specifically for practicing the sport, and a ball suitable for the artificial grass. The champion will also always enter the field with a special patch, and Paçoca will have the first honor.
X1 Brazil has a commercial partnership with LiveMode and broadcasts from CazéTV. It is a product inspired by major MMA events, with looks before matches, provocations, announcements and the entrance of athletes with their own music, ranking and belt at stake. On the court, greater contact is allowed, with the use of arms and body.
In addition to the physical, skill and creativity are fundamental factors for success. Sponsored by Esportes da Sorte, the event distributes R$140,000 (US$ 28,100), with R$50,000 (US$ 10,000) only for whoever takes the belt.
