Pixbet, which has already been operating sports betting in Rio de Janeiro since August last year, met with the Proof of Concept Committee to open its iLottery platform so that technicians could assess the company's ability to meet all determined requirements by the Loterj notice.
For more than four hours, the PoC Committee and the local authority's technicians pored over Pixbet's iLottery platform to see if the company was suitable for Loterj's requirements. Aspects such as speed in payment processing (cash-in and cash-out), ease of navigation, data security and responsible gaming policies, including self-exclusion or self-imposition of betting limits, were analyzed.
Furthermore, the PoC Committee analyzed GLI and other relevant certifications, as well as evaluating Pixbet's capabilities in customer service and support.
Once this phase has passed and the tests have been approved, Pixbet will be able to start exploring Loterj's online lotteries. The municipality's PoC Committee will prepare a detailed report on the company's ability to support the iLottery operation in Rio de Janeiro. The result should be out at the beginning of next week.
Hazenclever Lopes Cançado, president of Loterj, states that “it is another step taken by the Rio de Janeiro State Lottery to offer Rio de Janeiro society products certified and evaluated in all technical requirements. I am sure that this is a step forward that we are taking at the moment to guarantee even more resources to be applied to social issues.”
This Friday (15), the PoC Committee will meet with 1xBet to carry out the Proof of Concept for the operator's sports betting and iLottery platforms. As the analysis will be about the two 1xBet solutions, it is likely that the evaluations will continue next week given the number of items to be examined.
