“I want to highlight the trust in the international laboratory Gaming Associates, which is bringing its expertise, technology and innovation to become accredited in the State of Paraná and which, from now on, can offer tests and certifications to licensed lottery and sports betting companies by Lottopar,” highlighted the president of Loterias do Paraná, Daniel Romanowski.
“We were the first entity in the Federation to accredit internationally renowned laboratories to open headquarters in Paraná and this demonstrates the seriousness and solidity of the lottery market in Paraná. Now the lottery companies that will operate in the State can issue certificates and carry out tests in Paraná without the need to resort to laboratories in other states or even outside the country,” he stated.
“On behalf of Gaming Associates, I would like to thank Lottopar immensely for the accreditation and regulation of the lottery market in Paraná. They are developing unique work and opening new frontiers in Brazil and they greatly need this type of regulation. With Gaming Associates and its experience, this is the first point of operation in Brazil,” highlighted the company's representative, Taarik de Freitas Castilho.
Security
The main function of these testing and certification laboratories is to verify that lottery products and systems comply with standards, regulations and requirements established by regulatory authorities and entities responsible for the gaming and lottery industry.
The certifications issued by these laboratories guarantee that lottery and sports betting services are fair, safe, fraud-free and meet the required international quality standards.
Making a comparison, testing laboratories perform a similar function to the National Institute of Metrology, Quality and Technology (Inmetro), which promotes testing and guarantees the quality and safety, for example, of toys for children, thus ensuring that they are safe.
Paraná already has two more laboratories accredited to work with lottery operators, which are Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) and BMM SPAIN TESTLABS S.L.U.
The notice for accreditation of testing and certification laboratories remains open and can be consulted here.
Participating in the signing ceremony of the approval form were the president of Lottopar, Daniel Romanowski, the administrative and financial director, Rogério Nogueira; the operational director, Fabio Veiga; the technical director, Rafael Halila; the chief of staff, Stefanny Fernandes, and the representative of the Gaming Associates laboratory, Taarik de Freitas Castilho.
