AMZ Loterias do Brasil won the public competition to operate the municipal lottery in 2023 based on the criteria for the highest fixed grant offer, with a total value of R$783,000 (US$ 157,000) for a period of 20 years. Through its concessionaire, the Poá Municipal Lottery will be able to explore any of the lottery modalities provided for in Law 13,756/18, being able to carry out draws, print tickets and scratch cards – including digital –, in addition to promoting electronic, physical and online games.
To mark the launch, the first municipal lottery house will be inaugurated this Tuesday (26), with 42 PlayAGS Brasil Instant Lottery terminals with 24 games, whose game plans, central system and electronic operational process have been certified by BMM TestLabs.
With a population of 103 thousand inhabitants, Poá is one of the eleven municipalities in São Paulo considered hydromineral resorts by the state of São Paulo, as they meet certain prerequisites defined by state law.
Through a partnership with PlayAGS Brasil Ltda, the first lottery terminals operated by AMZ Loterias will have electronic instant lottery games with pay out between 70% and 90% and an average frequency of 1 winning ticket in every 4.1 tickets sold.
“We chose PlayAGS, due to its diverse portfolio of games and its integrated control system,” commented an executive from the dealership.
Games such as, Lucky Gypsy, Kenodilo, Cleopatra, Torresmo, Loteria do Bebeto, Sangue Bom, Zeus, Caçador de Premios, Goool, Tesouro, among others, will have series of 500 thousand tickets and varying face value, starting at R$ 0.10 to R$2.00.
AMZ Loterias do Brasil installed an access terminal to its central system at City Hall where all financial movements of the activity can be monitored and audited in real time.
