GR8 Tech - What should come IN the iGaming industry in 2024?
Thomas Carvalhaes - There's a couple of things that should be in iGaming:
AI: For me, more and more of AI based products or AI reactive intelligence are becoming a big thing in all Industries. I think we in iGaming need to be very, very attentive to that trend as well.
Regulation in Brazil: we are really expecting that to be fully in. There's been some massive, proper progress that already took place there. We're now expecting for the application for licenses to come in.
Esports: One more thing that I think should be in iGaming is a broader focus on eSports when it comes to the Emerging Market. Esports are a massive driving force, especially in markets like Brazil and Latin America. So we got to keep an eye on these Sports and give it a bit more love.
GR8 Tech - What should be OUT of the iGaming industry in 2024?
Thomas Carvalhaes - One of the main things that must go out is irresponsible marketing. We've had many issues because there's rotten apples everywhere. But we had some influencers in Brazil selling gambling or RNG-based games, or gaming in general, as a form of investment, as a form of guaranteed money making. So that has to go out.
If we bring the proper regulation in Brazil, we get rid of the rotten apples when it comes to marketing, we should have a healthier market.
