"We are honored to have the privilege of contributing to the State of Tocantins in the exploration of its lottery. We will make this lottery a great example of exploration for all of Brazil, whether in operationalization, in the technology used and mainly in profitability so that the Government enhances investment in the social area through the fruits of this service, for the good of the people of Tocantins,” commented Eduardo Paiva, lead representative of the consortium.

The concession covers all six modalities present in federal law and will also allow the exploration of the most recent update in the federal legislation on fixed-odd betting through law 14,790, sanctioned by President Lula in the last days of 2023, thus allowing the Loteria do Lottery concessionaire to State of Tocantins also explore the long-awaited virtual online gaming events.

Paiva concluded by saying "LOTOTINS will soon reach all 139 municipalities in the State and should create hundreds of new jobs. We are very excited about this promising opportunity, right after its announcement last month (February/2024) by Banco do Brazil's economic scenarios showing that Tocantins' 2023 GDP growth projection was 11.4%, the highest in the country (national average of 3.1%), representing almost 4 times the Brazilian GDP average."

The process will also involve the completion of administrative qualification, award and approval work by Government bodies and the contract should be signed in the coming months.
