Rivalry attends SBC Rio in a panel discussion on influencers and social media marketing

Rivalry Corporation announced that it is joining the SBC Summit Rio 2024 today (6). At the conference, the leading online sports betting and gaming operator for Millennial and Gen Z players will discuss various topics and strategies for the Brazilian market. The iGaming brand will be represented by Brazil Country Manager, Luis Gonçalves.

As a leading sports betting and media firm, Rivalry offers fully compliant online wagering on eSports, traditional sports, and casino for the next generation of bettors. It is headquartered in Toronto, Ontario, and currently operates in over 20 jurisdictions, while holding an Isle of Man license since 2018 and an internet gaming registration for Ontario’s competitive market.

SBC Summit Rio is a conference and trade show that seeks to deliver insights into the rapidly expanding Brazilian market by bringing together senior executives from the country and the rest of the world. Over 3,000 industry professionals from the country’s sports betting and iGaming sectors are expected to attend this year’s event scheduled for March 6, 2024.

At the summit, Gonçalves will join executives from the Brazilian gambling industry in a panel discussion branded Influencers: The Next Frontier of Social Media Marketing. The panel will converse on the role of influencer marketing in the region, including its ability to generate engagement and build communities, best practices for operators, and protection of young players.

It should be noted that Brazil is a key market for the company, and it operates there via its Isle of Man license. It closely monitors the jurisdiction’s plans to transition to a fully regulated iGaming model and will apply for a license. The company believes its established brand identity and local customer base will put it in a pole position to capture a significant share of the market.

Rivalry is also scheduled to send representatives to this week’s NEXT Summit New York 2024 on March 6-7, 2024, in Manhattan, NYC. There it will join a panel titled, “Navigating Gen Z Terrain: Sports Betting in the Age of Internet Culture,” which will explore the new player acquisition and engagement trends in sports betting among Gen Z’s shifting consumption habits.

Last month, the leading iGaming brand for Millennials and Gen Z players also shared some of its business plans for 2024. In its update, the operator said that after the successful 2023, it is poised to continue on this path in the new year. This year, the company is looking to double down on proven marketing tactics which provide business operating leverage.

It will also expand on casino B2B opportunities, as its games have demonstrated their ability to engage an under-30 demographic and generate revenue. Product innovation is also high on the list, as for 2024, the firm has prepared new releases and enhancements to the current product suite across, sportsbook, casino, and more, as well as higher-margin verticals.
