The first edition of the SBC Summit Rio brings together 4,000 industry professionals with a significant interest in the Brazilian market at the Windsor Convention & Expo Center in Rio de Janeiro from March 5th to 7th.
The event is expected to attract 4,000 representatives, 900 operators, 300 affiliates, 100 participants, and over 150 sponsors and exhibitors. This makes it essential on the calendar for those wishing to actively engage in the Brazilian industry.
The SBC Summit Rio addresses the sector's demands by being the first event to take place in Brazil following the recent regulation in the country. Serving as a Brazilian betting and gaming event for senior executives, the SBC Summit Rio will host key executives from regional and international operators, affiliates, suppliers, game studios, and representatives from regulators, media, sports teams, and leagues.
The event will serve as the ideal hub for in-depth discussions about the growing Brazilian market, discussing regulatory strategies, innovative technologies, and services, while also reflecting on Brazil's journey towards regulation and exploring future trends set to evolve the dynamic Brazilian landscape.
Rasmus Sojmark, CEO and founder of SBC, said: "Brazil has caught the attention of many in the industry as a dynamic and prosperous market that offers incalculable possibilities. We are truly honored to be the first industry event to be held in Brazil since it was regulated. With the regulated market still in its early stages, the SBC will serve as a fundamental platform for all industry members to come together to discuss innovative strategies, create meaningful partnerships, and ultimately drive the market."
One of the event's highlights will be the comprehensive conference agenda, which will take place during the two main days of the Summit. The conference will include four sessions on two stages covering topics such as leadership, marketing & affiliation, integrity & compliance, and innovation.
The first day of the conference today (March 6th) will feature an exclusive presentation by football legend Zé Roberto. With significant contributions to teams like Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, and the Brazilian National Team, the 'High Performance Strategy' lecture promises invaluable insights from one of football's most iconic figures.
The 'Marketing & Affiliation' track promises participants invaluable insights into innovative affiliate and advertising strategies. Delegates can anticipate discussions covering best practices for the optimized implementation of CRM systems and the power of marketing on social media.
The conference track will also host a dedicated Affiliate Leaders panel, exploring the ideal strategies affiliates can utilize, such as educating the local market about new alternative channels and establishing partnerships with operators and media to strengthen their position in the market.
On the other hand, the 'Leaders' track will give voice to top executives from leading operators, including Entain, Parimatch, EstrelaBet, Betsson, Superbet, OpenBet, among others. Sessions in this track will highlight essential topics such as enhancing player protection through collaborative efforts with regulators, adopting responsible advertising strategies, and identifying crucial factors for mergers and acquisitions in the Brazilian market, aiming to assist both sides in achieving a successful partnership.
The second day (March 7th) will kick off with a lecture by Hazenclever Lopes Cançado, president of the Rio de Janeiro State Lottery (LOTERJ), and Iuri Castro, representative of the Brazilian state financial services company CAIXA. The 'Q&A - Ask Anything - Lotteries Edition' lecture, moderated by Ludovico Calvi, honorary president of the Lotteries United for Sports Integrity (ULIS), will offer an interactive format led by the audience, providing a platform for attendees to submit their questions about the Brazilian market to expert speakers.
Overall, the conference agenda will host 100 industry experts addressing critical issues related to the Brazilian market.
Throughout the agenda, participants can expect discussions covering the best strategies global operators can utilize for a successful entry into the Brazilian market, best practices for the optimal implementation of CRM systems, ideal methods for successfully establishing partnerships between operators and media, successful localized marketing strategies, and many robust discussions on state and federal sports betting licenses.
It will also explore the delicate balance between innovation and regulation in shaping the customer experience, the rapidly evolving regulatory and compliance landscape in Brazil, how to incorporate technology that stays true to a brand's specific image and target audience, and much more.
The exhibition floor will host over 70 global and regional exhibitor brands, showcasing the latest games, technologies, and innovative services. Companies appearing at the meeting include well-known operators such as 1xBet, BetWinner, and EstrelaBet, influential affiliates such as bwise Media and KeyAffiliates, innovative game studios such as SmartSoft, Wazdan, and Pragmatic Play, and suppliers such as BetConstruct, Digitain, IGP, and Oddin.gg, alongside a host of service providers showcasing their latest products.
