KTO becomes official sponsor of Chapecoense football club

KTO announced a sponsorship agreement with the Brazilian football club Associação Chapecoense de Futebol. Commonly known as Chapecoense, the club hails from Chapecó city in Santa Catarina. As part of a year-long deal, KTO will work closely with the club to enrich engagement with its passionate fanbase. The KTO logo will also be featured on the Chapecoense shirt and above the club badge.

With a legacy dating back to 1973, Chapecoense has a decorated history, winning the Campeonato Catarinense state championship six times.

Currently playing in Série B—the second-highest division in the Brazilian league system—the club has also reached the top division twice in 1978 and most recently in 2014.

Cássio Filter, Brazil Country Manager at KTO, praised the sponsorship, with special recognition of both the municipality and the residing club, commenting: “Chapecó city is nationally recognised for being actively involved in various sports.”
