Paraná becomes a technological hub for lottery security with four certified laboratories

With four approved testing and certification laboratories, Paraná stands out as a hub for legal security and players are guaranteed a safe and reliable lottery market in Brazil. This is thanks to the Notice that accredited four companies to meet Lottopar's demands. Gaming Laboratories International (GLI), BMM Testlabs, Gaming Associates and eCOGRA operate in the state.

In July 2023, Lottopar opened Notice 02/2023 - Accreditation of Testing and Certification Laboratories for the Gaming and Lottery Industry and, since then, Paraná has attracted the largest institutions in the sector, globally recognized in this segment. With this accreditation, Paraná was the first Brazilian state in which these laboratories opened headquarters outside their countries of origin, thus bringing expertise, technology, innovation and security to the lottery market in Paraná.

With this accreditation, lottery operators in the territory of Paraná can carry out tests and receive certifications without the need to resort to laboratories based in other countries.

Gaming Laboratories International (GLI), BMM Testlabs, Gaming Associates and eCOGRA are able to carry out rigorous tests on electronic games, lottery systems and other related components for operators who receive the Lottopar concession.

With these accreditation measures, Lottopar and the Government of Paraná made the State become a technological hub in the Brazilian lottery market, paving the way for other entities in the federation to also take this initiative, always following what determines the current legislation and with respect to territoriality.

“These actions encourage serious companies to invest in Paraná, promoting a lottery market with credibility and security. We are advancing in the implementation of lottery modalities without leaving aside one of the most important pillars in this segment, the security of these operations,” highlighted the president of Lottopar, Daniel Romanowski.

Security

No lottery operator receives an operating concession without first presenting all the certificates attesting that the lottery products and systems comply with standards, regulations and requirements established by Lottopar, which is responsible for supervising the operations of state modalities in Paraná.
