The Arnold Sports Festival is one of the largest multi-sport events in the world. It was created in 1989 by Jim Lorimer and Arnold Schwarzenegger and takes discussions on the topic to different parts of the world. It has been happening in Brazil since 2013.
This year, the Arnold Sports Festival hosted the 2nd Hospitality and Tourism Forum, held in partnership with IDT-CEMA (Institute for Development, Tourism, Culture, Sport and Environment), which took the theme of gaming and betting to the stage.
At the meeting, Fernando Garita, CEO of Betsul, took his experience about the gaming and betting sector to an audience eager for news about the segment. Even without final regulations yet, the executive clarified that everything will soon be finalized and the activity will be able to continue operating in a regulated manner in Brazil.
Garita highlighted his presentation's focus on the importance of entertainment activities, such as casinos, shows, theme parks and sporting events. He was categorical in stating that games bring countless benefits to the country, such as generating jobs and taxes.
Regarding casinos, he reinforced how much the activity guarantees the attraction of tourists to Brazil, as is the case in other countries where the sector is legalized. For Garita, all types of games should be seen as entertainment and a great business opportunity in the hotel industry.
