1xBet national manager, Carlos Eduardo Ferreira, lawyer Alexandre Fistarol and Russian coach Iurii Mishin, participated in the session.
Reiterating his desire to operate in Brazil as a regularized betting house, Carlos Eduardo highlighted that since the company became aware of the opening of accreditation by Loterj, in Rio de Janeiro, it was interested in applying for the license.
“We know the strength and representation of Rio de Janeiro, as well as Loterj, which is giving us the great opportunity to understand the dynamics of our client in a regulated environment to know how to act from now on,” stated Ferreria.
According to him, “the main change will occur in consumer behavior, which will be guided by certain rules. I am grateful for the receptiveness of the Loterj team and I hope to be able to work with everyone in the near future,” highlighted the national manager of 1xBet.
The company was approved in early March for legal, tax and technical authorization to operate sports betting and online games, as well as iLottery. After this phase, 1xBet underwent the first Proof of Concept (PoC) for its iLottery platform.
The sports betting and online gaming platform underwent this Tuesday (16) all tests regarding the requirements of the Accreditation Notice. Among them, speed in processing payments (cash-in and cash-out), updating odds in real time, ease of navigation and responsible gaming policies were evaluated.
Now, 1xBet will have to wait for the report on the entire analysis process to be prepared and, if approved, return to Loterj to sign the contract and pay the grant, updated to R$5.15 million (US$ 1m).
The betting houses Apostau RJ, Bestbet, MarjoSports and Pixbet are already in operation. Another nine are currently undergoing accreditation (1xBet, which has just passed PoC, Caesars Sportsbook, Key Solution Gaming of Bet, Lottoland, Lema, Laguna, PNR, Purple & Green and SDL Loterias).
