Kaizen Gaming becomes new member of the IBJR

Kaizen Gaming, one of the largest online gaming and sports betting operators in the world, is the newest member of the Brazilian Institute of Responsible Gaming (IBJR). With advanced technologies in the entertainment sector and extensive experience in regulated markets, the group proposes to advance the dialogue on responsible gaming and the role of GameTechs in the Brazilian market, where it operates through Betano.

The company owns the digital platform Betano, which last week became the new main sponsor and exclusive betting partner of the Brazilian Championship. This announcement followed a series of recent sponsorships with some of the world's most important associations, including UEFA Euro 2024™ and CONMEBOL Copa America™? 2024. In Brazil, the company also sponsors Brazil's Copa Betano.

For the president of IBJR, André Gelfi, having Kaizen Gaming at IBJR reinforces the institute's commitment to fostering discussion about the regulation of the Brazilian market with the expertise of its members in the most diverse international markets.

“Kaizen Gaming shares the institute's ideals in the search for responsible gaming and market sustainability, while ensuring safety for players and investing in cutting-edge technology. We are certain that this will be a very important partnership for the next stages of regulation in Brazil,” he comments.

“At Kaizen Gaming, we keep integrity and responsibility at the core of our business. Our employees are committed to providing the safest gaming experiences to our customers around the world, which is only possible in regulated environments. Therefore, we welcome the regulation of the Brazilian market, as we have been waiting for this for a long time. Together with IBJR, we will continue working towards a regulated market that will benefit everyone in Brazil,” said Kostas Diorelis, director of compliance and regulatory affairs at Kaizen Gaming.

The Brazilian Institute of Responsible Gaming (IBJR) was born from the union of the bet365, Flutter, Entain, Betsson, Betway, Yolo, Netbet, KTO, Rei do Pitaco, Novibet, LeoVegas and Kaizen Gaming with the aim of fostering debate on regulation of this segment in Brazil, contributing information to defend the creation of clear rules and guidelines so that sports betting companies can operate legally, protecting the interests of players and civil society.

Currently, in addition to igaming and sports betting companies, IBJR has among its members payment companies such as OKTO Group, Pay4Fun and OneKey Payments, media groups such as Better Collective, the Clever Advertising agency and the sports marketing company Volta Pra Marcar.
