Lottopar partners with Buenos Aires Lottery to strengthen safe and responsible gaming

The presidents of Lottopar, Daniel Romanowski, and the Instituto Provincial de Lotería y Casinos (IPLYC), of Buenos Aires, Gonzalo Raico Atanasoff, signed a protocol of intentions for joint actions towards safe and responsible gambling. The deal aims to exchange knowledge and information in the development of practices to identify the best paths in the segment, as well as improving the structuring and management of lottery games in general.

On Friday (19) last week, in La Plata, capital of the Province of Buenos Aires, the president of Lottopar, Daniel Romanowski, and the president of the Instituto Provincial de Lotería y Casinos (IPLYC), of Buenos Aires, Gonzalo Raico Atanasoff, signed a protocol of intentions, without financial costs for the state.

Among the expected benefits are the exchange of knowledge and information, the development of actions aimed at identifying the best practices in this segment, as well as improving the structuring and management of lottery games in general.

Among the highlights of this protocol of intentions, it is worth highlighting the joint actions that will be developed mainly in relation to preventing, blocking and combating illegal gaming operators in the territorial areas of each signatory party, as well as the execution of projects, activities or events of mutual interest.

“For Lottopar, this partnership is important and will further strengthen the sports betting and lottery market in Paraná. We are creating a link with one of the most developed countries in this sector and also with a long way to go in terms of good practices in safe and responsible gaming,” stated the president of Lottopar, Daniel Romanowski.

“The Institute is a reference in South America and I am sure that we will continue to evolve together towards an increasingly strengthened lottery market.”

For the president of the Instituto Provincial de Lotería y Casinos de Buenos Aires, Gonzalo Raico Atanasoff, “Lottopar is a reference in management among state lotteries in Brazil and for the Institute it is an honor and pride to seal this partnership. The doors are always open and soon we will get to know how Lottopar works up close.”

Participating in the signing ceremony were Lottopar's technical director, Rafael Halila Neves; Maria Laura Spinelli, systems director at IPLYC; and Carla Albanece, administrative director also of IPLYC.
