The expectation is that this will prevent the production of 126 kg of plastic waste. The activation will also take place next weekend, at the same Geraldão gym, in Recife (PE), where the men's final between Sesi Bauru and Vôlei Renata will take place.
With the decision being made in a single game, one from the women's Bet7 Superliga and the other from the men's Bet7k Superliga, the company calculated the positive impact of the action on the environment.
According to a survey carried out by the company, each fan present consumes, on average, two seven-gram disposable cups, which generates 14 grams of plastic waste per fan. In total, including the duels on the 21st and 28th, the expectation is that 18 thousand fans will visit the games’ venue. This way, through the action, 252 kg of plastic waste would no longer be generated.
“It is very important to create this relationship between the brand and volleyball fans through actions. There will be two decisions of great appeal, the gym will be full and we will have the opportunity to make the show even more attractive. These will be interactions focused on entertainment, converting new customers but also with a sustainability bias,” says Rene Salviano, CEO of Heatmap.
In addition to the activation focused on reducing environmental pollution, Bet7k, together with Heatmap, a sports marketing agency, has carried out other actions on the most important dates in the national volleyball calendar.
Among the activations are the delivery of personalized “ace” and “wall” signs to fans; distribution of cups with QR Code; raffle with prizes for balls autographed by the finalists; invitations to play teqvoly and the fastest serve challenge on the court.
