Using artificial intelligence to create an advertising film to the sound of Cartola, a passionate Fluminense fan, Betano says goodbye to the fans showing the club's achievements with the musical background “Tá Escrito”.
Died in 1980, the samba singer gave voice to the music in a brilliant initiative by the agency Wieden+Kennedy SP, which used AI from several hours of interviews with the singer and more than a hundred of the samba singer's songs to edit the musical background.
Betano says that the campaign is a way of perpetuating the partnership with the 'Tricolor da Laranjeiras'. “It was designed to honor Flu’s trajectory and Betano’s partnership over such happy years.”
During the period in which it was the main sponsor, Fluminense took home two Cariocão titles, a Copa Libertadores da América and the Recopa Sul-Americana. The choice of the song with Cartola was chosen because it was sung by the tricolor fans when they won the 2023 Libertadores.
The club's president, Mário Bittencourt, thanked Betano for the partnership and wished him luck on his journey. “Fluminense will always have its doors open to the company, which participated in this period of great achievements,” stated the club director.
In Fluminense's farewell game for the Libertadores against Alianza Lima, in Peru, the team will wear a commemorative shirt as a form of thanks and to mark Betano's last game as sponsor.
