Report shines spotlight on Colombia as Altenar heads to GAT Expo Cartagena

Altenar has published its market report for Colombia to give potential operators in the region an insight into the latest trends and opportunities ahead of GAT Expo Cartagena 2024. The three-day conference on April 9-11 is an opportunity for the company to showcase its growing range of iGaming products and solutions which are tailored to the demands of the region.

Using data from leading analysts, Altenar’s market reports provide a snapshot on the current landscape including the latest information on the leading providers as well as information on the regulations, licensing requirements and costs involved in entering the Colombian market.

It is a country which has enjoyed tremendous growth in recent years after the government recognised the potential for revenue from the betting industry to help fund healthcare and public welfare initiatives.

Online gambling was regulated in 2016 and the iGaming industry in Colombia has taken off, with Altenar playing its part in the growth of its partners.

The market report includes a prediction for growth up until 2028 and the potential for onshore operators is obvious, with the gross win for betting operators expected to almost double between 2022 and 2028 while the offshore market has stagnated.

For further information, interested parties can head to the Altenar website and request a copy of the market report or meet the company’s team at GAT Cartagena.

Regional Director Hugo Llanos and Sales Managers Diego Salas and Alejandro Cazorla will be in attendance and ready to discuss how Altenar’s flexible solutions are ideal for the needs of the region.

As he prepares for the expo, Diego said: “Colombia has been the example for its Latin American neighbours to follow when it comes to the regulation of the industry and it continues to be an important market for Altenar with a bright future.

The GAT exhibition in Cartagena is an important date in our calendar and has proved to be a successful trip in the past. It is another opportunity to meet new operators and our regional partners.

We always aim to understand our customers and the market where they operate, work closely with them to provide a localised solution, and adapt it to every environment.

As part of Altenar’s attendance in Cartagena, Hugo will take part in a discussion in customisation and innovation in the industry, with the 20-minute event taking place at 10am in the Nueva Granada Hall on April 9.

With his insight and the company’s market report, Altenar is ensuring attendees have plenty of insight as they head to Cartagena.

Those looking for more information can book a meeting with the team.
