The IBDRE Betting Committee focuses on a relevant segment and activity today. The sports betting sector is on the rise and generated more than US$2.7 billion in the first quarter of 2023 in Brazil alone, according to the Central Bank.
The Institute, which has been very present in the segment, states that “it will contribute to studies and debates and will be attentive to the regulation of sports betting in Brazil and its future regulation, which is essential to bring benefits to society.”
The IBDR Betting Committee is chaired by lawyer Ricardo de Paula Feijó and has the following members:
