The regulation of sports betting in Brazil, sanctioned in December 2023, opened a new niche of professional opportunities, with a demand for qualified labor.
Law 14.790/2023 established clear rules for the operation of the sports betting market in the country, aiming to provide legal security to the sector, combat illegality, and boost tax collection.
With this, licensed companies can offer online and physical point bets on various sports events, in addition to casino games.
"With the regulation, sports betting companies gained legal security, which generated confidence to invest and structure their operations in the country," says Lucas Papa, executive manager at Michael Page.
According to him, companies are currently prioritizing the hiring of professionals with leadership profiles and experience in operations management, mainly in the areas of finance, marketing, and compliance.
