GMB - How does the 1win Partners affiliate program work in Brazil and around the world?
Kirill Mamzilov - We operate globally as a large company, working in over fifty countries with our product, and partnering with us are companies from more than fifty countries. We aim to cover the entire world and onboard more partners who will generate traffic for us.
How did 1win Partners achieve this success, operating in more than 50 countries with over 100,000 affiliates?
To be honest, it was a challenging journey. We attend various conferences around the world on each continent, and our marketing team plays a significant role. They work tirelessly to help our company achieve these results.
Which is the marketing strategy for this year?
This year, we aim to recruit more affiliates from local markets such as Brazil, Argentina, and Peru. We are focusing on the LATAM market and other nations. We want to recruit affiliates from these regions where we are currently operating.
What is your opinion on betting markets today, including Brazil, which is now regulating?
Betting markets are increasing day by day, year after year. This is a growing sector, which is truly incredible. But let's see how this regulation in Brazil will work, because no one knows the correct strategy. It is important to first know what is needed to proceed with the license application.
We are clear that the new regulation covers sports betting but we don't know how to include iGaming (gambling). For our company, it is essential to have both. Today 1win mainly offers iGaming products, but although we are not as strong in sports betting, we intend to enhance this modality.
Which markets are 1win Partners targeting right now?
We are focusing on LATAM countries like Argentina, Peru, and Brazil. They are stable markets for us. However, we have decided to hold back a little until we understand the final regulations here in Brazil. Additionally, our plan for this year is to target the Asian market.
Do you think the regulations will be good for your business?
We'll see. We're not sure, to be honest.
What where your impressions about BiS SiGMA Americas? Is it your first time in Brazil?
No, it's my third time in Brazil. The SiGMA show is amazing. There are numerous companies here, including gaming providers, payment solutions, advertisers and iGaming and sports betting products. It's great to gain insights from this industry. We've met many potential partners here and have also negotiated with our current partners.
What priority does the Brazilian market have for you today?
This year, Brazil is not our main focus, but we are waiting for regulations to understand how to operate in this market this year and in the future. For now, the country seems unknown to us. We're unsure. We're not sure, but we have several ideas about what it will be like in the future.
