The inauguration of the first gaming and lottery agency in São Vicente, on the coast of São Paulo, was made possible thanks to the decision of the Federal Supreme Court (STF) that ended the Union's monopoly on the exploration of lottery modalities.
With this, São Vicente launched a tender in which AMZ Loterias do Brasil, in partnership with PlayAGS Brasil, was the winner and authorized to explore prediction lotteries (specific, sports and numerical), instant, passive and sports betting. The contract has a duration of 20 years.
As a result, Loteria da Baixada opened last Wednesday (15), an agency at Rua Frei Gaspar, 944, in São Vicente downtown. The store has 16 lottery terminals and 32 games certified by BMM Testlabs.
“São Vicente, once again, shows that it is a pioneering city. After the STF's decision, which ratified the creation of municipal lotteries, we moved quickly to bring further progress to the city. Expanding business and entrepreneurial possibilities is of great importance for the municipality”, said Mayor Kayo Amado.
