The person in charge of Amazonas is its president Weslley Couto. In interviews given to journalists shortly after access at the end of 2023, he made it clear that the club's main objective is to reach the main elite of Brazilian football.
In addition to the good management work, one of the foundations of this good moment in the season is the sponsors. The main one is Reals, a betting platform that became a master partner at the beginning of this year - the largest among Amazonian clubs in history.
"We identified this trajectory of rapid growth. Now, we want to contribute to the club continuing its path of success, with the expectation of bringing good results to fans, visibility and expansion of the brand. Amazonas has ambitions for greater flights, as well as Reals, and this will happen with a lot of work, commitment and professionalism, which are values that are very present in our company," says Rafael Borges, Country Manager at Reals.
For the Reals executive, games with centuries-old Brazilian football teams, such as the next one, against Flamengo in the Copa do Brasil, bring value to all parties involved and help to value the partnership, in a market as competitive as betting platforms.
"We are talking about a market in which 38 of the 40 clubs in series A and B have some type of sponsorship with betting houses. For us, who are also on the rise, these moments serve to stand out, not just with exposure in the shirt, but also with activations with the public and social networks,” added Borges.
“We recently won the award for Best Sportsbook Operator, and in 2023 the Rising Star of The Year, both at SiGMA Awards Americas. It was a very important and significant achievement for the company, which began operating in Brazil in 2022. This is what we also want to show in addition to the partnership," the Country Manager concluded.
