This is the biggest master sponsorship contract in the club's history. The deal will be worth R$105 million (US$ 20.4m) in 2024 retroactively. In 2025, the amount will rise to R$110 million (US$ 21.35m). For the following two years, if the automatic renewal is validated, the value is R$125 million (US$ 24.25m) in 2026 and the same value in 2027.
Flamengo and Pixbet's agreement for 2024 and 2025 was R$85 million (US$ 16.5m) per year. The conditions were approved last year.
The bookmaker will also give bonuses in the case of titles. In the men's category, the Libertadores would give R$5 million (US$ 1m) for the title, and R$2.5 million (US$ 500k) for the runner-up. In the Copa do Brasil, R$3 million (US$ 580k) for the cup and R$1.5 million (US$ 290k) if it loses the final.
In the Brasileirão, the title would be worth R$3 million (US$ 580k). In the women's category, the Libertadores would yield R$1 million (US$ 195k) for the cup and R$500,000 (US$ 97.500) for the runner-up. The Brasileirão would give R$1 million in case of a title.
Sponsorship from Corinthians influenced the adjustment. After agreeing the master with Pixbet, Fla saw several clubs obtain high contracts, especially those from São Paulo, which receive R$120 million (US$ 23.3m) through VaideBet.
Given this scenario, Flamengo began to be requested by other companies. It took the case to Pixbet and asked for an adjustment.
The fear of losing the partnership with the club with the biggest fans in Brazil made Pixbet give in. However, as a counterpoint to the increase, it signed a renewal agreement with a 50% fine in case of termination.
