Just two months after its creation, AMIG now has more than 200 members, AMIG now has more than 200 members and a team of professionals 100% made up of women, demonstrating a genuine commitment to promoting, recognizing and professionalizing women in a segment historically dominated by men.
The creation of these sectorized committees marks an advance and evolution in the structuring of AMIG's governance. These spaces will provide an environment dedicated to discussing and addressing the specific challenges faced by women in this expanding sector, as well as proposing concrete solutions that promote female participation in the iGaming market.
With multi-faceted objectives aimed at ensuring an inclusive, equitable and empowering landscape in the gaming and betting industry, the committees focus on a range of relevant fields, from gender equality issues in the workplace to women-specific professional development opportunities.
Lisandra Pereira Branco, supervisor of the AMIG Press Advisory Committee, expressed her pride in the progress achieved with the creation of these committees:
“As supervisor of the AMIG Press Advisory Committee, I am extremely proud of the progress we have made with the creation of the thematic committees.”
“This initiative strengthens our governance and reinforces our commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion in the iGaming industry. I firmly believe that these committees will be essential in driving equal opportunities and progress for women in the sector.”
These committees are expected to play a crucial role in driving initiatives and policies that promote equal opportunities and advancement for women in the industry. Furthermore, they have the potential to inspire other organizations in the sector to adopt similar approaches and commit to creating more inclusive and equitable workplaces.
Currently, organizations that support and implement equality measures in the corporate environment are able to obtain the Association's certification seals. Click here to learn more about how your company can be part of this movement and gain recognition for its practices.
