GMB - What were the new features presented by PayBrokers at BiS SiGMA Americas?
Carlos Klein - Our main novelty was the launch of PayBrokers Bank, a step towards the new market regulation. So, at this moment we are bringing a solution for affiliate management by operators through these accounts, which adds to other products we already offer for payment of marketing expenses, boosting, and other needs of our clients in Brazil.
It's the beginning of a journey of banking services aiming to adapt to the new regulation, which will bring a series of novelties for operators and players in the Brazilian market.
Will this represent an even more robust operation for PayBrokers? What tools does the company offer to the gaming market?
Today we already have the main one, which is the Pix solution as a payment method. Like for everyone else, it's a product that has become popular among Brazilians. In addition to that, we offer a range of payment methods associated with these accounts, with a whole set of cash-in and cash-out possibilities, including the offer of credit cards, which can be used for reinvesting part of the affiliate's commission in new boosts, as well as for consumption and personal expenses and for whatever they wish to do.
Furthermore, we offer other solutions associated with exchange for payment retention here in Brazil to our operators, and we have invested a lot in developing new channels, improving the cost of this operation, and more recently, we changed the operation format to a non-resident account in Brazil. With this, we reduce the exchange costs involved in the operation of merchants while based abroad awaiting approval from the Ministry of Finance and the location of the operation.
The Ministry of Finance released the regulation for payment transactions a few days ago. Are you already perfectly compliant with what was disclosed?
Yes, and in fact, the fair was an excellent opportunity to discuss with operators some of the value propositions that we understand are possible regarding the new regulation. There is a great opportunity for banking products to develop new services within what the regulation limits possibilities for the operator, but which, as a financial agent involved in the operation with authorization and license from the Central Bank, we can operate through players' accounts.
Is PayBrokers already perfectly compliant with what was established in the regulation?
Yes. Everything there is fully reasonable. These are artifacts that the financial system has known and mastered for some time, and it's a readjustment of structures and account mechanisms. There will be small adjustments now with the regulation, but they are simple and easy to build, and we will present a new product and service to the iGaming market in the coming months.
