GMB - What did BETBY come to present at BiS SiGMA Americas?
Chris Nikolopoulos – Brazil it's a market that represents a significant part of our business. As usual our product consists of three main verticals, the main one is our fully managed sports solution. This is the first product historically that we started with. On top of that, we have our own portfolio of eSports, virtual games, known as BETBY games. This portfolio has been growing day by day and it is very successful, especially in emerging markets like Brazil and entire Latin American region.
And last but not least, we have recently launched our AI vertical, a tool which I'm happy to tell you more about. We have very high hopes for it.
What is the company's strategy for the Brazilian market this year?
Brazil has been booming for the last couple of years. The amount of work, the number of operators, and the market growth is truly remarkable. It's unique across the whole world, I think. I've been working in this industry for many years, and I don't recall many other cases like this. Of course, at BETBY we are at the forefront of the industry, trying to keep all radars open all the time. It’s natural for us to partner with major Brazilian operators and those operating in this region.
We are fortunate and capable enough to do so. Our strategy is simple: we aim to make it easy for the operators. We look for good partners, genuine partnerships. We maintain our values and don’t compromise on standards. Fair partnership is the way forward.
Can you highlight two or three key products from BETBY's sports betting solution?
Our fully managed sportsbook is the main component, consisting of various verticals. Our in-house-built front-end is a key feature, along with the option for operators to develop their own solutions. We offer numerous widgets, customizations, and even personalization on the player level. With our solutions, players can have their own unique front-end experience, leveraging the AI tools we provide.
We also provide a comprehensive back end with reporting, access control, risk management, brand monitoring, and many other features. Lastly, our extensive data aggregation capabilities make us one of the biggest data aggregators in the market, delivering top-tier content to our partners.
What sets BETBY Games apart from the competition?
BETBY Games has an interesting history as a product developed entirely in house, of which we are very proud. We consider it our company's baby. We developed this content during COVID times, and it performed exceptionally well from the start. We realized its potential early on and invested more in it. Now, we have a separate business unit dedicated solely to BETBY Games.
BETBY Games is a popular eSport titles developed in house. There's no easy element involved. It is certified recently by MGA by Malta Gaming Authority so it can be provided it to several markets around the world. And the content is unique because it can be customized to the highest level. We can have unique everything can be customized from the stadiums, the players, the league, the jerseys, and when we are entering a new market, we are happy to adjust and offer localized content.
And that's what we are doing, with all our tier one clients, we are offering some exclusive custom content for them. And when we see the results and the way it performs, it's just amazing. We used to work with other similar products in the past and I can say that the conversion of BETBY Games is dozens of times bigger. It's definitely a solution that we are very happy to power our existing clients, but also something that we can power outside sports with external sports as well with.
Regulation in Brazil is coming, is this good for market growth?
In general, I believe regulation is beneficial regardless of location. The market in Brazil, as I mentioned, has been evolving significantly, with many changes occurring. The way regulation will be implemented will be crucial. There have been numerous discussions surrounding regulation for some time now, but I believe we are in the final stages, and it will eventually come to fruition.
When it comes to software providers like us and regulation, we are always prepared. It's our responsibility to be ready to meet requirements, align with project specifications, understand what is needed in collaboration with certified agencies, government regulations, and guidelines, among other factors.
Certainly, in collaboration with our operators, who are the primary stakeholders in this industry, we aim to foster a fair, regulated environment that is beneficial for players. We will adhere to regulations set forth by the government. In fact, we believe that the path Brazil is currently following is the right one for other countries throughout the region to emulate.
