Betano launches campaign for the Copa América in prime time on Brazilian TV

Official sponsor of the competition, Betano launched this Sunday (9) a national campaign for the Copa América, highlighting the confidence and greatness of Latin fans. “Trust. We have to respect our football.” This is the motto of the Betano commercial, the first company to submit its application for a license to operate sports betting and online gambling in Brazil.

 

“Trust. We need to respect our football” is the Betano campaign that began airing this Sunday (9) in Brazil. The premiere took place in prime time, during the break of ‘Fantástico’ show, on the Globo network, the most important TV chain in the country.

Betano is one of the largest online sports betting houses in Brazil and a sponsor of the Copa América 2024, which will take place in the United States, between the months of June and July.

The communication created by Wieden+Kennedy SP exalts the faith, passion, optimism and boldness of football fans and players in the Americas.

The campaign, which will also run in Argentina, Chile, Peru and Mexico, debuted in Brazil on Sunday (9) night and will run until June 14, the end of the competition between teams.

Since April this year, Betano has had an agreement with the Brazilian Football Confederation and became the owner of the naming rights for the Brazilian Football Championship. It also holds the same ownership in the Copa do Brasil and is the master sponsor of Atlético-MG.

Belonging to Kaizen Gaming, one of the largest global sports betting and online gaming operators, Betano has an established presence and millions of customers in the European and Latin American markets. It also recently entered Africa and North America with launches in Nigeria and Ontario, respectively. The company employs more than 2,500 people worldwide.

Kaizen Gaming Brasil is the first company to request authorization from the Ministry of Finance's Prizes and Betting Secretariat to operate sports betting and online gaming. The company submitted its request via the Betting Management System – SIGAP on May 26th.
