“BiS-SiGMA 2025 will have three days and more area, housing the entire iGaming ecosystem”

After the resounding success of BiS SiGMA 2024, the exhibition has grown in size and time, as the next edition will have three days of exhibition and 50% more space. Nuno Bispo, marketing director of the global event for the LatAm market, gave an exclusive interview to GMB and spoke about the changes that had occurred, including the discontinuation of Afiliados LatAm. “Affiliates are part of the ecosystem and have to be at a unique meeting in the sector,” he defined.


GMB – What's new about BiS-SiGMA 2025, since you won't be holding Afiliados LatAm in conjunction with the event?
Nuno Bispo
- It's true, BiS SiGMA always needs to have valuable news to deliver to the market. In the next edition, from April 7th to 10th, 2025, we will grow by around 50% compared to the 2024 edition. But in our growth process together with SiGMA, we made the decision to discontinue the Afiliados LatAm brand. The affiliation segment was extremely important for us and we had been paying special attention to this segment with our own brand. But nowadays the event has grown a lot and all these audiences and the affiliation area are absolutely mixed together with the ecosystem of platforms and operators. It no longer makes sense to have a brand, let's simplify. We are BiS-SiGMA Americas.

Are affiliates part of, as you said, this entire ecosystem?
They weren't supposed to be. Today it's just a business, not exactly ours. Our sector evolves very quickly and is very agile. A few years ago it made sense to have an event, a specific brand for this audience, but today it no longer necessary to have this differentiator as a brand, especially because we have BiS-SiGMA, which is complete.

And it is completed with Bet Expo, which is more aimed at bettors. So we decided to simplify, do more and better focus on what we are good at, working across the entire iGaming, sports betting and affiliate ecosystem.

Did SiGMA itself do this with its affiliation event?
Exactly, we have been following this growth together with SiGMA, and it is precisely because they have discontinued the affiliate brand or sub-brand that we are also following the same strategy together with them.

What are the expectations for BiS SiGMA 2025 especially now with the regulation of the sector becoming closer?
BiS SiGMA 2024, as you know, witnessed and everyone saw, was a success. We had 14,000 people visiting the event. The next edition, in 2025, will have three days of exhibition. We will grow over time and membership will also grow with us. And Bet Expo will also be with us to show news that, in due course, we will announce.
