Brazil is already in the mood for the Conmebol Copa América 2024, and the competition's fan zone will bring even more joy to Brazilian audience on Copacabana beach (at Post 2), in Rio de Janeiro.
The space invites the public to experience the emotions of the Brazilian team's games, with shows by great national musicians, gastronomic attractions and lots of entertainment. Entry is free, with ticket requests now available through the website https://www.sympla.com.br.
The premiere will be next Monday (24), starting at 5pm. DJs will perform at the opening of the program. To warm up the Brazilian fans even more, the event will host a show by singer Xande de Pilares before the start of the match. The gastronomic area will have a variety of food options, as well as entertainment options in sponsor activations. A big screen will show all the emotions of the game, broadcast by TV Globo.
On the pitch, Brazil faces Costa Rica in its first match for the competition, in Los Angeles, in the United States. In Group D, the Brazilian team will also play against Paraguay (on June 28th, in Las Vegas ) and Colombia (on July 2nd, in Santa Clara). The show on the second day of the event will be by the group Fundo de Quintal, while Toni Garrido will perform on the third, always starting at 5pm.
The Fan Zone will be open, always full of attractions, during Brazil's games in the tournament. As the team advances in the competition, new dates and attractions will be revealed.
The project is presented by Betano, with sponsorship from Rexona, Coca-Cola, Brahma and Jim Beam, in addition to support from the Municipal Sports Department and Rio de Janeiro City Hall. Directed by the agency Effect Sport.
The 2024 Copa América brings together 16 teams from the continent, divided into four groups with four participants. The top two from each group advance to the quarterfinals, in a knockout system. Current champions, Argentina are the competition's biggest winners, tied with Uruguay, with 15 wins each. Brazil lifted the cup nine times, the last time in 2019, at Maracanã. This year's edition has the United States as its headquarters.
