Lottopar launches interactive map of more than 50 “Raspinha” sales points in Paraná

In 14 days, more than 50 “Raspinha” points of sale have been opened in Paraná, showing the capillarity and acceptance of this lottery modality supervised and authorized by Lottopar. They can be consulted on the municipality's portal, where it is also possible to access the interactive map with the location of each of the units.

On June 6, Apostou.com signed the service order authorizing the launch of the instant lottery "Raspinha" in Brazilian state of Paraná. In just 14 days, over 50 sales points have been established, demonstrating the widespread reach and acceptance of this lottery type under Lottopar's (Parana State Lottery) supervision and authorization.

The sales points can be viewed on the authority's portal, where an interactive map showing the Raspinha's locations is also available.

Sales locations are divided into dedicated points and authorized resellers, both requiring Lottopar's authorization to sell the Raspinha. Dedicated points are the concessionaire's own stores, also serving as service points where players can personally ask questions, purchase tickets, exchange winning tickets for cash, provide feedback, and file complaints.

Authorized resellers include newsstands, bakeries, convenience stores, and general commerce, where tickets with prizes up to R$ 50 (US$ 9.20) can be exchanged. For prizes exceeding this amount, only dedicated points can handle these transactions.

One authorized reseller of the 'Raspinha' is Banca Tibagi in downtown Curitiba, managed by João Paulo Feitosa, who reports sales exceeding expectations.

"We started selling on Tuesday (18), and by the afternoon, before closing the stand, we had sold out. Eighty Raspinhas were sold quickly. It's been a success; at least 15 of them were winning tickets. I've already requested more, and soon the responsible company will restock," says the merchant.

According to Fabio Veiga, Director of Operations at Lottopar, the launch has been positive with no issues, proceeding according to plan.

"The concessionaire has a robust business plan with extensive coverage, which also intensifies our authorization and oversight efforts. For each sales point opened, we meticulously verify if the location is suitable and meets the requirements set forth in the bidding process, such as not being close to schools, as lottery games are only permitted for adults," he stated.

Interactive map

The interactive map, developed by Lottopar's IT department, is accessible on the authority's portal. It allows tracking the distribution of Raspinha sales points across the state. Clicking on a sales point icon provides comprehensive information such as address, neighborhood, city, and phone number, and even enables users to plan a route to the location. A complete list of all authorized sales points is also available.

Jonathan Camargo, Lottopar's IT Manager, emphasizes that "this solution promotes transparency in supervised and authorized lottery operations by Lottopar, while also helping residents of Paraná locate Raspinha sales points."

"The interactive map will operate almost in real-time; once a sales point is authorized and the product is available for sale, it should appear on the map," he added.

How it works

Players determine if a ticket is a winner by scratching off concealed areas on the ticket, revealing symbol combinations that determine prizes. Raspinha tickets can be purchased at physical sales points for R$ 2.50 (US$ 0.45) each.

In this initial batch, there are four game modes: "Aposta Certa", "Bilhar", "Strike", and "Jogo da Velha". The system operates on a "find it, win it" basis, with thousands of prizes ranging from R$ 2.50 (US$ 0.45) to R$ 60,000 (US$ 11,000).

Ombudsman

Residents of Paraná can also use Lottopar's ombudsman service to provide suggestions, complaints, reports, and compliments regarding lottery operations. This service is accessible through the "Atendimento" (Service) section on Lottopar's portal, at their headquarters, or by contacting the ombudsman directly via email at [email protected]
