The show “Resenha dos Artilheiros”, an exclusive and relaxed chat with Ronaldo and Rivaldo, premiered this Monday (24), on Betfair's YouTube. In the conversation led by journalist Rosiane Siqueira, the bookmaker's ambassadors spoke about the Copa América 2024 and the Brazilian team's expectations for the continental competition. The stars also pointed out that Brazil x Argentina should be the possible final in the tournament.
The show also features the participation of members of the Betfair Advantages Club, as well as influencers who admire the duo. Ronaldo and Rivaldo, in addition to commenting on the unforgettable title of the 1999 Copa América, when Betfair ambassadors were fundamental parts of the team, also highlighted the Brazilian team's progress in the 2024 Copa América.
Rivaldo guaranteed that the players called up by Brazil will fight for their first victory with the yellow shirt. “We are in a very comfortable situation after winning titles, it is much easier to be able to talk. But I see that the players are chasing their dreams, of winning the Copa América and are looking to become world champions. I’m not much of a critic of the players because I know how hard they work to achieve all of this.”
Ronaldo highlighted the crucial role of the legacy left by previous generations and the importance of the collective's commitment to Brazil's success.
“It all started before we were born, with Pelé, Garrincha, Zagallo; These generations passed all of this on to us. Talented they are, but players alone don't win. They need everyone to be committed to the competition, sacrificing themselves; With everyone in the same understanding, it becomes easier for talent to stand out, with unity and protection. This is the path that young people must take to win titles”, pointed out the Betfair ambassador.
Expectations, challenges and the dream final

I see that Vinícius [Júnior] has the ‘full ball’ and I also believe that he will be the competition’s top scorer,” commented Rivaldo in an interview with the program "Resenha dos Artilheiros" Betfair.
Top scorer in two editions of the Copa América, in 1997 and 1999, Ronaldo commented on the biggest challenge for the coach's work at the head of the Brazilian team. “Dorival’s biggest challenge is finding that balance of attack, defense and midfield. Create everyone's commitment to winning one match at a time, as you have to think game by game to be champion.”
“Dorival was successful wherever he went and joined the national team at the right time. We still have a lot of time before the World Cup, and I like what I've seen so far. He will definitely have a great Copa América with this new group of players called up,” added Rivaldo about the work of the current national team coach.
The duo does not hide that the expectation for Brazil is the title of the competition in the USA, and, for them, the perfect final would be a classic against the biggest rivals on the continent: Argentina. “I think Brazil will be champions and I hope we have a final against Argentina. It’s the type of game that gives you those nice butterflies in your stomach”, commented Ronaldo.

“Neymar’s absence is a problem because he is a star. But, in problems, opportunities appear and, today, the three best players to replace him are Endrick, Vini and Rodrygo. In this Copa América, they have the chance to stamp a passport for the World Cup, establish themselves in the national team and say 'Oops, here I'm going to fight for my space too!', so it's a great moment for them," Ronaldo pointed out.
