“Like what Brazil does on New Year's Eve every year with the Mega da Virada, what is intended is that everyone can, in a kind of big pool or crowdfunding, contribute to a real turnaround of this sad situation, each one buying – a game that is – so that the Gauchos can re-establish themselves as soon as possible,” explains the deputy in the project.
“It will be reestablishing good football, good music, good food, good wine, good path, good history, good example,” he adds.
Neves argues that 40% of the raffle proceeds go towards the prize and operational costs. Another 60% would go towards re-equipping schools, hospitals, buildings and public services and helping the homeless in the state.
If the prize is not claimed, the project does not provide for it to accumulate. If the winner does not appear, the value of the prize would also be allocated to the reconstruction of Rio Grande do Sul.
