In his participation at CGS Santiago, Chile, last May 29th and 30th, the president of Loterj, Hazenclever Lopes Cançado, spoke about regulatory rules in Brazil and shared challenges, opportunities and lessons with the Chilean and Latin American market.
"This meeting, with players from several Latin American countries, demonstrates that we are truly experiencing a unique moment in the gaming industry across Latin America. Latin America, with almost 700 million people, is the hottest market for iGaming today and in Brazil alone it is estimated to be a market worth R$150 billion (US$ 28.6bn) per year,” he pointed out.
“This is the moment and opportunity for operators to operate in a regulated manner in Brazil, especially in the Rio de Janeiro State Lottery, the most attractive Brazilian license,” said the president of Loterj.
As a guest speaker, Hazenclever participated in a panel on regulatory aspects and trends for the lottery sector with lawyer Eva Frontera, gaming regulation manager at the Buenos Aires City Lottery (LotBa).
Afterwards, the president of Loterj was in a debate about the Brazilian regulated gaming and betting market with Leonardo Baptista, CEO of Pay4Fun, Amilton Noble, executive director at Hebara Distribuidora de Produtos Lotéricos, Natalia Nogues, CEO of Control F5, and Renata Henriques, business development manager at Evolution Brasil.
“It was a historic moment for Loterj, which marked its presence on the international scene alongside great leaders in the gaming and lottery industry in Latin America,” concludes Hazenclever Lopes Cançado.
