GMB - What are the main payment services offered by PayRetailers for the online sports betting sector?
Daniel Moretto - In Brazil, by law, only PIX and debit card are allowed for the sports betting segment. However, for Latin America, we offer more than 250 payment methods.

How does the company help sportsbook operators to expand their business internationally through payment solutions?
We are in Latin America and to reach this market, PayRetailers has a platform that operates via an API, which means that we only have one entry channel instead of a local supplier in each country. This provides unified contracting and, as we enable more countries through the website, the operator also has the opportunity to attract new customers in these regions.

The ease is great for the bookmaker, as it no longer needs to open a local office to work; it can open and test these markets simply through technology and permission that our platform grants. Another benefit is that, even when operating in a different country, the bettor pays and receives from the bookmaker in their local currency. Transactions are very simple and transparent.

What security measures does PayRetailers implement to protect the financial transactions of iGaming users?
We are in a high-risk market since we have milliseconds to perform all the necessary checks. We verify the bettor’s CPF when making the payment to avoid it being a deceased person or a minor, for example. We also have checks to determine whether a transaction is fraudulent or not. These measures ensure the integrity of the process.

How do you facilitate deposits and withdrawals for clients of betting sites?
Today, the greatest ease is through PIX. In the future, with the Central Bank's approval, we should start offering the "payment initiation" option.

What are the key geographic markets in which PayRetailers operates in the online sports betting sector?
We are active in almost all of Latin America. Besides the Payment Institution license in Brazil, we operate in other countries where we are also regulated, as well as in unregulated countries. We are now advancing in Africa and aim to expand to other continents.

How does PayRetailers adapt its solutions to meet the specific needs of the online market, and what challenges are faced in terms of payment processing?
The main challenge is to stay continuously updated with the new regulations issued by the Central Bank. While challenging, this is also our daily routine as we are regulated by the Central Bank. This also provides more transparency and security to the customer and end consumers, as the betting house is also within an environment that complies with all Central Bank regulations.

How does the company support sports betting operators during major sporting events or peak seasons?
We primarily support by ensuring that the platform is 100% available, especially during peak moments. During championship finals like the Libertadores and the Brazilian Championship, transaction numbers are very high. We have processed nearly 10,000 transactions per minute.

How can users access and utilize PayRetailers' support and customer service to resolve any payment-related issues?
Today, a significant differential we offer is the account manager, a professional who deals directly with the user in their language. So, any question or assistance the betting house needs, the manager will help, whether it’s a technical or process-related query. The payment method is one of the most complex areas to operate in a betting house, and from the moment we provide someone to help with whatever is necessary, the development process for that client is faster.
