“Sportingbet Afiliados arrives to tropicalize our product and regain the Brazilian market”

Sportingbet recently adopted a rebranding with the motto “Enter the game with confidence”. Following this concept, Santiago Indart, head of affiliates at the company, welcomed GMB for an exclusive interview, where he stated that the company is ready for regulation and working very closely with affiliates to train them. “We are soon launching a local portal for the segment to serve all our partners,”revealed the executive.


GMB - Sportingbet has undergone a rebranding with the message of "entering the game confidently." Have you been entering the game confidently for a long time?
Santiago Indart -
Always confident. We've been in Brazil for a long time. We were one of the first to arrive in Brazilian territory. We're going through this rebranding, as you mentioned, and entering the game confidently, looking forward to the upcoming regulation and structuring the entire team for it. So, we're very happy to be here, to have you here at our booth.

The decree that outlines the steps for companies to apply for their license was recently released. Have you understood everything and are you ready to hit the "enter" key?
Definitely, we're ready. Our legal team is working on it, including people in Brasília studying and examining all the details of this upcoming regulation. And we're eager for it. We want to make a strong entry into Brazil and enter the game confidently.

 



As head of affiliates, how do you evaluate this partnership and what has the relationship been like with them?
It's been improving more and more, and we work towards that. We're soon launching a local affiliate portal to better serve all our local partners, streamlining payments and enhancing the affiliate experience. Sportingbet Affiliates is coming to tropicalize our affiliate product and to be a major driver in reclaiming Brazilian territory.

Does the affiliate market need to be retrained in light of the regulation, given there are new responsible gaming and advertising rules?
Certainly, always respecting that. Our entertainment industry is what we need to inform. Obviously, we need to educate ourselves and others. All the affiliates working with us have been trained to maintain a well-structured, regulated, strong, and united market. All brands need to follow suit.

How are business going from the perspective of gaining more market penetration in Brazil? They're going well and keep growing. The market in general is on an upward trend, and this is happening with all operators. We're very pleased with what's happening in Brazil and very eager for this regulation to arrive soon.
